DESIGN FOR GOOD demonstrates how design can have a powerful, positive impact on society and the environment. The exhibition brings a frequently overlooked field into focus: design in the service of the common good. Showcased are pioneering projects from recent years – including work for organizations such as Caritas, VinziRast, and GLOBAL 2000.

Throughout the entire duration of the exhibition, the designforum transforms into an open workspace and creative hub, where Austrian and international designers develop pro bono projects for social and ecological initiatives, associations, and organizations. DESIGN FOR GOOD belongs to the people who create, take action, listen, and keep going – often on a voluntary basis, always with conviction. Without the activists, organizations, and initiatives that stand up every day for social justice, ecological responsibility, and human dignity, this exhibition would not be possible – just as it would not exist without the creatives who contribute their knowledge and time to make this work visible, understandable, and impactful.

DESIGN FOR GOOD is a collective project – a constellation of ideas, conversations, relationships, and trust. Thank you to everyone who contributed: creatively, organizationally, voluntarily, and tirelessly. You are the foundation. And the proof that design can connect and move people.
